“MONITOR helps us save much time and resources”
Arenco’s business concept is to develop, market and deliver – worldwide – their efficient machines and complete production lines for packaging, fish processing and matchmaking production. They also provide service and spare parts for these machines and supply consumables to the matchmaking industry. Their competitiveness is based on long experience, strong market positions and through knowledge about their customer’s applications. Altogether, this makes them a reliable partner in production and servicing of machinery. Arenco is a part of the Amymone group.
Why did you choose MONITOR?
– We are a part of the Amymone group and some of the companies within the group already use MONITOR and had only good things to say about the system, says Ms. Jenny Xiao, Operation Manager at Shanghai Arenco Machinery Co., Ltd.
– MONITOR has a straightforward and user-friendly interface with a strong, logical design of the program menus and production related functions. This makes it very easy for our users to understand the system and it helps us to see the relationship between different measures and how it affects the rest of the production, Jenny adds.
Do you feel that Monitor has given you the support you need?
– Monitor’s consultants have given us very good support. They do not only have a great knowledge of the system but are also experienced and understand the manufacturing industry. This has helped us a lot, especially when it comes to the pre-production preparation when creating the product structures. Without the consultants from Monitor it would have been harder for Arenco to set this up since our business is based on small volumes and complicated structures. With their help the implementation went very well and was done on schedule, says Jenny.
– We have felt well served when we have contacted the support, even though we have not needed much support after the implementation. That, if anything, is proof of a qualified system, Jenny adds.
How much of the ERP system are you using in your business?
– Our whole operation is managed by MONITOR today. There are functions in MONITOR that we use but in other ways than the intended. We have, together with Monitor, adapted them to suit our ideas and purposes. We only do the payroll and some of the financial functions outside the system, this is due to legal demands in China.– We also use the supplements Management Accounting and MONITOR EIM to ease the daily work, says Jenny.
Does MONITOR contribute in the process to further develop your business?
– MONITOR helps us to systemize different routines that we earlier served with excel and access system with has saved us much resources. More effective ways of working definitely help to develop our business, Jenny concludes.
